Role Description The Medical Anchor & Journalist role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The individual in this role will research and report on current medical and healthcare news, prepare structured news stories, and present them in video or audio formats for the platform’s audience.

Responsibilities include anchoring news bulletins, conducting interviews with medical experts, verifying sources, and simplifying complex medical information for transparent public understanding. The role also involves collaborating with editors and the digital team on story selection, script development, and broadcast schedules, as well as contributing written content for the portal as needed. The position is designed for medical graduates (MBBS / FMGs preferred) who wish to combine clinical knowledge with journalism and media presentation.

Qualifications

- Strong news reporting and research abilities, including experience or interest in Reporting and News Writing.
- Broadcast-focused skills,



such as Broadcasting and Broadcast Journalism, with the ability to work in studio and field environments.
- On-camera or on-mic presentation capabilities, including experience as a Presenter or anchor.
- Medical background preferred (MBBS or foreign medical graduates), with the ability to interpret and explain clinical and scientific information accurately.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Strong ethical sense, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and evidence-based reporting.
- Comfort with digital tools, social media platforms, and online publishing workflows.
- Ability to work from the New Delhi office, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.
