About Docthub Academy

Docthub Academy is a new healthcare education initiative focused on providing career-oriented and industry-relevant training to students and aspiring healthcare professionals.

We are looking for experienced professionals to join us as Medical Coding and/or Medical Billing Faculty and help students develop practical, job-ready skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and structured training sessions.
- Teach practical concepts related to Medical Coding and Medical Billing.
- Explain healthcare documentation, medical terminology, coding, billing, claims, and related processes.
- Provide practical examples and industry-based case studies.
- Conduct assessments, assignments, and doubt-solving sessions.
- Mentor students and support their learning journey.
- Help students understand industry expectations and career opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of course content.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Medical Coding and/or Medical Billing.
- Must hold an AAPC certification in CPC (Certified Skilled Coder) or CPB (Certified Professional Biller).
- Must have an active AAPC membership at the time of joining.
- AAPC certification and membership should be currently valid and active.




- Strong knowledge of Medical Coding and/or Medical Billing.
- Good understanding of healthcare processes, documentation, claims, and revenue cycle concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Prior teaching/training experience will be an advantage.
- Additional relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

ICD • CPT • HCPCS • Medical Terminology • Anatomy & Physiology • Coding Guidelines

Medical Billing:

Healthcare Revenue Cycle • Insurance & Claims • Claims Processing • Denial Management • Patient Billing • Reimbursement Processes
