About the RoleWe are looking for motivated interns from a mass communication or journalism background to join the CEO's core communications team at Winner Political Strategist, a political strategy and campaign management firm based in SR Nagar, Hyderabad. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real political campaigns, public narrative building, media relations, and on-the-ground communications strategy—working directly under senior strategists and the CEO's office.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft press releases, statements, speech notes, and talking points for the CEO and campaign leadership.
- Monitor daily news, TV debates, and digital media for coverage relevant to the client(s) and competitors; prepare summary briefs.
- Track sentiment and narrative trends around political issues, opponents, and public perception.
- Create content for social media — posts, captions, reels/short videos, and campaign messaging — in coordination with the design/video team.
- Support ground reporting: attend public events, rallies, and press meets to gather quotes, photos, and video footage.
- Assist with research — policy briefs, constituency profiles, opposition research, and background dossiers.
- Coordinate with journalists, media houses, and press contacts for interviews, coverage, and follow-ups.
- Help draft op-eds, blog posts, and long-form content on public policy and current affairs.
- Translate/localize content between English and Telugu/Hindi as needed.
- Support the team with day-to-day communications and documentation during campaign cycles.





Who We're Looking For

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; working proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi preferred.
- Genuine interest in politics, public affairs, governance, and current events.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube) and content trends.
- Willingness to travel locally within Hyderabad for events, shoots, and press engagements.
- Own laptop and smartphone.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Prior internship or project experience with a media house, PR agency, newsroom, or political campaign.
- A writing portfolio — published articles, blog posts, or campus journalism work.
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Experience with content research tools or public data (election data, government reports, etc.).
