Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Radar Systems team.You will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design and integration of radar subsystems and enclosures. The role is critical to ensuring structural integrity, thermal performance, environmental compliance, and manufacturability of complex radar systems deployed in airborne, naval, or ground-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, structures,



and enclosures for radar systems, including RF shielding and modular electronics packaging.
- Work closely with electrical, RF, and system engineers to ensure tight integration of mechanical and electronic components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, and vibration analysis (FEA/CFD) to meet military and industrial environmental standards (MIL-STD, IPxx, DO-160).
- Generate detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using tools like SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX.
- Drive DFM/DFA considerations from concept to production for in-house or vendor-based manufacturing.
- Evaluate materials for EMI/EMC shielding, thermal management, and weight reduction.
- Oversee mechanical prototyping, environmental testing, and qualification activities.
- Interface with suppliers and fabrication partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Contribute to technical documentation, compliance reviews, and internal design reviews.
