Role Description This full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer / Plant Manager role is based in India and involves overseeing the mechanical systems and day-to-day operations of mineral processing and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities include supervising plant equipment performance, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and optimizing production efficiency, safety, and reliability. The role involves leading mechanical design and improvement projects, reviewing CAD drawings, and collaborating with R&D; to enhance processes and introduce new technologies.

The Mechanical

Engineer / Plant Manager will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources,



while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards. This position also requires close coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including fundamentals of materials, manufacturing processes, and industrial machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for developing, reviewing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to plan, execute, and monitor plant and engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to support process improvement, innovation in equipment design, and adoption of new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in mining, minerals processing, heavy industry, or manufacturing plant operations is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams on-site.
