Required Skill Set

Solid hands-on experience in SolidWorks 3D modeling, assembly design, sheetmetal design, and fabrication drawings

- Ability to create detailed technical drawings, BOMs, exploded views, and manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of mechanical components, tolerances, fits, and GD&T;
- Experience in designing metal fabrication parts, welded structures, jigs, fixtures, and assemblies
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFMEA is an advantage
- Experience in product improvement, reverse engineering, and prototype development

/ Responsibilities

- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare complete manufacturing documentation including BOMs, DXF files for laser cutting, and assembly instructions
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and assembly teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability




- Modify and improve existing designs based on production feedback and performance issues
- Conduct design calculations, material selection, and structural analysis where required
- Support prototype development and participate in design validation and testing
- Ensure all designs comply with internal standards and customer specifications
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all design files
- Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams
- Perform other engineering tasks essential to company operations
- Minimum two years of experience in mechanical design within a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong background in SolidWorks, mechanical design principles, sheetmetal fabrication, and welded assemblies
