Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and analyze mechanical systems and components for construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing CAD drawings, collaborating with civil and structural teams, and supporting installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment on-site. The role involves coordinating with project managers to track progress, resolve technical issues, and support budgeting and scheduling.

The Mechanical





Engineer will also participate in research and development efforts to enhance designs, improve efficiency, and recommend new technologies and materials.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and applied problem-solving skills.
- Candidates should possess Machine Design skills for developing and evaluating mechanical components and systems.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating, modifying, and reviewing technical drawings and models.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan tasks, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor timelines and resources.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to evaluate recent solutions, materials, and methods for project improvement.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in construction or industrial projects, including on-site coordination, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with applicable safety standards, building codes, and mechanical installation practices is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly, work within multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
