Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Diploma Engineer – Fresher role based in Mumbai. The candidate will receive practical exposure to the design, assembly, inspection, maintenance, and servicing of truck-mounted aerial work platforms and related access equipment.

The role is suitable for recently passed-out Diploma in Mechanical Engineering candidates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in heavy equipment, automotive systems, hydraulics, manufacturing, and field service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers and technicians with assembly and installation of mechanical equipment.

Support routine and preventive maintenance activities.

Assist in mechanical inspection, testing, and fault identification.

Learn and support troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and CAD drawings.

Assist production and quality teams in ensuring equipment meets company standards.

Support service and field activities when required.

Maintain basic service, inspection, and maintenance records.

Follow workplace, workshop, and industrial safety procedures.





Identify basic mechanical issues and report them to senior engineers.

Assist in continuous improvement and equipment reliability activities.

Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and service teams.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Freshers / recent pass-outs are encouraged to apply.

Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering and automotive systems.

Basic understanding of hydraulics, structures, and mechanical components.

Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.

Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Basic knowledge of CAD software is preferred.

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

Willingness to work in workshop and field environments.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Solid willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of heavy vehicles or industrial equipment.

Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, and fittings.

Basic understanding of welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

Knowledge of MS Office/Excel is an advantage.

Internship, industrial training, or academic project experience is an advantage.
