Role Description The Application: Mechanical Designer role is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad.

The Mechanical

Designer will develop and refine mechanical concepts, prepare technical drawings, and create detailed 3D models and assemblies using CAD tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and R&D; teams, performing design calculations, selecting appropriate materials and components, and ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and cost requirements. The role involves reviewing and updating design documentation, supporting prototype development and testing, and incorporating feedback from manufacturing and field teams.

The Mechanical

Designer is expected to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, manufacturable, and aligned with project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design,



with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world applications.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;), including exploring new design approaches and improving existing products.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret standards and specifications, and ensure compliance with industry norms.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials selection, and basic tolerance and GD&T; concepts is an advantage.
- Prior experience in mechanical design for industrial or product applications in a similar role is preferred.

Experience: 5–6 Years Location: Hyderabad (On-site, Full-time)

CTC: ₹6,00,000 PA

Key Requirements:

- 3D CAD Expertise: Proficient in CATIA and Siemens NX for product design, surface modeling, and detailed drafting.
- Core Competencies: Strong understanding of GD&T;, DFMEA, stack-up analysis, and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastic injection molding, machining).
- Execution: Capability to take products from concept design to production-ready 3D/2D CAD packages.
