Position - Mechanical Design Engineer - Steam System (Industrial Projects)(Tamil complusory)

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop steam systems, including piping, valves, boilers, and heat exchangers.

- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI).

- Conduct design reviews and provide engineering support during installation and commissioning.

- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines.

- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians as needed.

- Qualified Engineering (PE) license.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

- Experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).

- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.

- Familiarity with relevant standards.
