What we do?

We are an early stage company building cyber-physical systems (comprising of robotics, IoT, AI and software modules) focused on service robotics, sensing, monitoring, and control. We are working on Projects which involve building multiple physical Products (Robotic systems - AMR, manipulators, custom robotic chassis, and service robots).

What is on offer?

Role of Technical lead or core builder who can help shape the physical prototype from the ground up and work closely on execution, integration, and field-readiness.

Based on the tests some of these Prototypes would move beyond TRL 7, so this role offers an amazing opportunity to actively contribute towards shaping the mechanical and technical direction of what would be state of the art cyber-physical systems from concept to a market.

Role format

This can be structured flexibly depending on fit:

- Project-based role.
- Full time role.
- Technical Lead or Core Team Member (depending on the conversation).

Availability: We are looking for someone who is immediately available to join and hit the ground running. Whom would we like to invite to our tribe?

We are looking for HARDWARE BUILDERS who:

- Come from Mechanical, Mechatronics or other relevant engineering backgrounds.
- Have prior DEMONSTRABLE experience physically building robots (whether professionally, academically like Robocon/FSAE, or through substantial personal hardware projects).
- Have the breadth and depth to drive the mechanical design and fabrication of these projects independently.
- Exhibit a strong willingness to learn if needed. We do not expect you to know it all from day one. If a project requires picking up new cross-disciplinary skills (like basic electronics integration or a new CAD tool), you can figure things out quickly and are a proven self-learner.

- Are comfortable with engineering mathematics (kinematics, dynamics, load calculations).
- Are comfortable solving messy real-world physical problems.
- Have a willingness to think beyond CAD and contribute to building deployable, robust physical systems in the workshop.

What you will do

- Should have the right breadth and depth to architect and design the mechanical structures, drive systems, and moving parts of these robots.
- Break down product goals into practical mechanical modules, CAD iterations, and fabrication milestones.
- Work across structural design, mechanisms, material selection, packaging, and physical assembly.
- Identify the right specification for Off the shelf components (motors, gearboxes, actuators, bearings, fasteners) that would go in building these systems.
- Coordinate physical integration—ensuring enclosures fit electronics, sensors are mounted precisely, and wiring harnesses are routed cleanly.
- Debug physical issues quickly (e.g., structural weak points, tolerance stack-ups), identify risks early, and keep hardware execution moving.
- Document design decisions, manufacturing tolerances, and implementation trade-offs clearly.
- Support physical prototype readiness for stress testing, field demos, and validation.

Skills we would value (either/or)

- Mechanical design specifically for robotics, automation, motion systems, or custom manipulators.

- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (Fusion360, etc.) and simulation (FEA, Kinematics).
- Hands-on prototyping, 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and general workshop assembly.
- Knowledge of drivetrain components (BLDC motors, steppers, harmonic drives, linkages, wheels ).
- Experience in mechatronics integration (sensor packaging, thermal dissipation, cable routing).
- You truly enjoy technical ambiguity and getting your hands dirty to solve problems.

What will make an application stand out

- A visual portfolio, demo video, CAD renders, or a physical build log of a robot or machine you built.
- Clear evidence that you personally designed, machined, assembled, or integrated something substantial in hardware (personal passion projects are highly valued!).
- Ability to explain what broke physically, what changed in the next iteration, and what was learned.
- Ownership mindset and bias toward execution (getting parts made and tested vs. just sitting in CAD).

Location preference Preference will be given to local candidates, especially those based in or near Kharadi, Pune, since the role heavily involves physical prototyping, in-person coordination, and workshop-related work. Person would be expected to Work from office.

Application process

Please share your resume and, most importantly, links to a visual portfolio, build logs, videos of your physical projects/robots, or any relevant hardware documentation. Due to limited team bandwidth, it may not be possible to respond to every application individually. Only shortlisted candidates may be contacted, and applicants should allow up to 2 weeks to hear back.

For faster processing/review - you may email your details to [email protected]
