Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based at Newen Systems’ manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for energy storage systems, power electronics, and related products, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings in CAD, performing design calculations and basic analyses, and collaborating with electrical, manufacturing,



and quality teams to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems. The role involves supporting prototyping and testing, reviewing designs for cost and ease of production, and contributing to continuous improvements in products and processes. The engineer will also prepare technical documentation, maintain design standards, and assist in resolving engineering issues during production and installation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with applied skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- Proficiency in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drawings.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into robust mechanical solutions.
- Experience in designing enclosures, structures, or components for power electronics, energy systems, or industrial equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, tolerance analysis, and basic structural/thermal considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; relevant industry experience in energy, power, automotive, or similar domains is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in office in Vadodara and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
