We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drawing & Design Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in SolidWorks. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and supporting vendor coordination while building prototyping.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and GA drawings.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Modify existing designs based on customer or production requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality and procurement teams.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Solid proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Modeling, Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Weldments and Drafting).
- Knowledge of manufacturing, machining and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of GD&T; is preferred.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machinery, industrial equipment, fabricated products or material handling systems.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Exposure to ERP systems and engineering documentation practices.
- Utilization of AI tools to reduce total design time.
