Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical components, products, and systems. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of mechanical design principles, CAD software, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

- Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings.

- Use CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or AutoCAD.

- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic engineering analysis.

- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.

- Prepare BOMs, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and R&D; teams.

- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvements.

- Identify design issues and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.

- Ensure designs meet applicable quality, safety, and industry standards.

- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during production.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.





- Experience in mechanical product design and development.

- Good knowledge of engineering drawing and GD&T.;

- Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or NX.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, casting, forging, welding, and injection molding.

- Knowledge of materials, fits, tolerances, fasteners, and mechanical components.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with DFMEA, DFM/DFA, tolerance stack-up, and design validation.

- Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems.

- Basic knowledge of FEA and engineering simulation.

- Familiarity with ISO/ASME drawing standards.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

- 0–2 years: Junior/Fresher Mechanical Design Engineer

- 2–5 years: Mechanical Design Engineer

- 5+ years: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
