Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and practical experience in Autodesk Inventor for developing mechanical designs, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting the Design & Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical designs and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop detailed part designs, assembly designs, fabrication drawings, and layouts .
- Convert design concepts and engineering requirements into accurate mechanical designs.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Create and modify 3D models and assemblies in Inventor.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain design-related documentation.
- Make revisions to designs and drawings as per engineering and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Design,



Production, Fabrication, and Project teams .
- Ensure designs and drawings meet required dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and documentation .
- Support the engineering team in resolving design and fabrication-related issues.

Required Skills

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering .
- Positive working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor .
- Knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and mechanical design .
- Understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and basic engineering standards .
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, steel processing equipment, fabrication, or engineering projects will be preferred.
