URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT GENERAL PHYSICIAN

? Location: Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh

? Hospital: 300-Bedded Multi-Speciality Hospital

POSITION

Consultant General Physician / General Medicine Specialist

QUALIFICATION

- MD General Medicine
- DNB General Medicine
- Valid NMC / Uttar Pradesh Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

- Experienced candidates preferred
- Candidates with strong OPD, IPD and emergency medicine experience will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct General Medicine OPD consultations
- Manage IPD patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Diagnose and treat diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory disorders and other medical conditions
- Manage critically ill and emergency medical cases with timely stabilization
- Review and interpret laboratory investigations, ECG and other diagnostic reports
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response
- Conduct regular inpatient rounds and coordinate patient care
- Provide pre-operative medical evaluation and clearance when required
- Coordinate with specialists including Cardiologists, Neurologists, Nephrologists, Gastroenterologists, Surgeons and Intensivists
- Manage medical complications in post-operative and critically ill patients




- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, lifestyle modification and follow-up
- Maintain accurate case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes and discharge summaries
- Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital roster
- Follow NABH, infection-control, patient-safety and hospital clinical protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of emergency and acute medicine
- Ability to independently manage OPD and IPD patients
- Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination
- Qualified, ethical and patient-centric approach
