Job Purpose The MCC Engineer serves as the central point of contact for the deployed SolitAir fleet, providing technical support and operational oversight. This role ensures continuous situational awareness and control of the fleet, coordinating maintenance activities and supporting flight crews and maintenance providers to maintain safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Shift In-Charge for maintenance operations, overseeing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Provide real-time technical status updates of the fleet to Flight Operations and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with service providers for maintenance requirements at both main base and outstations.
- Manage and control all outgoing communication from MCC.
- Serve as the primary contact for all maintenance-related communication across the company.
- Initiate and coordinate AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support, including manpower, tooling, and spares.
- Guide and support maintenance personnel during troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Advise flight crew on technical issues both in-flight and on the ground.
- Monitor and manage delay and AOG events, ensuring timely and accurate updates to management and stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute Deferred Defect status reports; monitor compliance and efficiency.
