Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a remote MCP Expert opportunity supporting AI training and evaluation projects. You’ll help create reinforcement learning environments that test AI models on complex software engineering tasks involving Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.
What You’ll Do:
- You’ll build reproducible software engineering environments where AI agents solve tasks such as bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization .
- You’ll design deterministic verification and golden reference solutions to evaluate both software engineering ability and effective MCP tool usage.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ideal candidates have strong programming experience in Python, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or Rust , along with solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, debugging, performance optimization, and large codebases.
- Experience with distributed systems, code reviews, or AI/ML systems is a plus.
- Prior AI experience is not required.
Compensation & Commitment:
- $60-$120/hour
- Approximately 15 hours/week
- Fully remote
