Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Master Data Analyst / Material Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Material Master Data Management, Data Enrichment, Data Cleansing, Cataloging, and Data Standardization .

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in analyzing material and service data, identifying duplicates, assigning classifications, extracting and structuring information, and maintaining data quality as per client or organizational standards. Exposure to SAP MM, MDM, P2P, Vendor Master, and BOM will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Material Master Data analysis, cleansing, enrichment, and standardization.
- Extract and analyze material information from client-provided documents and other sources.
- Perform Noun Modifier identification and ensure consistent material descriptions.
- Enrich material data by researching and validating missing information.
- Catalog materials and assign appropriate classes, characteristics, and values .
- Identify and resolve duplicate material records and maintain data integrity.
- Structure and standardize spare parts and material data according to defined client standards.
- Work on Material Master and Service Master data.
- Support Vendor Master Data activities, including vendor information research and validation.




- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work with BOM data and support material-related data analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors whenever additional information or clarification is required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow defined MDM and data governance standards .
- Support procurement and P2P processes through accurate and standardized master data.

Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of experience in Material Master Data, Material Engineering, MDM, Data Enrichment, or Data Quality .
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand technical/material descriptions and standardize them according to defined guidelines.
- Experience working with client data and maintaining data accuracy is preferred.
