Marketing Executive
1. Job Purpose The Marketing Executive will be responsible for promoting the hospital's healthcare services, developing referral and institutional networks, generating patient leads, strengthening the hospital's presence in the assigned territory and supporting patient acquisition and business development initiatives.
The role requires extensive field coordination with doctors, clinics, corporates, healthcare organizations, insurance/TPA networks and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the hospital's outreach and service utilization.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Hospital Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and implement marketing activities to promote hospital services in the assigned territory.
- Identify opportunities for increasing patient footfall, referrals and utilization of hospital services.
- Promote key specialties, superspecialty services, diagnostic facilities, health packages and other hospital offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, clinics, nursing homes, hospitals and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular field visits to referral sources and potential business partners.
- Identify new referral channels and business opportunities for the hospital.
- Support the development of territory-wise marketing and business development plans.
B. Doctor & Referral Network Management
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with referring doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Regularly visit clinics, hospitals and healthcare centres to communicate hospital services and facilities.
- Coordinate with doctors and referral partners regarding hospital facilities, specialties, consultant availability and patient services.
- Maintain an updated database of referral doctors and healthcare institutions.
- Track referral trends and identify opportunities for strengthening referral relationships.
- Address routine coordination requirements of referral partners and escalate concerns to the concerned authority.
C. Corporate & Institutional Tie-Ups
- Identify and approach corporates, industries, institutions, NGOs and other organizations for healthcare partnerships.
- Support corporate health check-up programs, camps, wellness initiatives and employee healthcare programs.
- Assist in developing corporate tie-ups, MoUs and referral arrangements as directed.
- Coordinate with internal departments for execution of institutional healthcare activities.
- Generate leads for corporate health packages and hospital services.
D. Camps & Outreach Activities
- Plan and coordinate health camps, awareness programs, screening camps and community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing teams,
diagnostic departments and hospital administration for successful execution of camps.
- Promote hospital services through local outreach activities.
- Maintain records of camp participants, leads, referrals and conversions.
- Follow up with potential patients generated through outreach activities.
E. Digital & Promotional Activities
- Support hospital promotional campaigns across appropriate digital and offline channels.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing/creative team for hospital campaigns, service promotions and healthcare awareness activities.
- Assist in developing marketing communication material such as brochures, presentations, standees, flyers and promotional content.
- Support social media and local promotional initiatives as required.
- Monitor local market activities and competitor promotions.
F. Patient Lead Generation & Follow-Up
- Generate and follow up on patient leads received through marketing activities.
- Coordinate with the hospital's concerned departments for timely response to prospective patients.
- Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, conversions and referral sources.
- Track lead conversion and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure skilled communication with prospective patients and stakeholders.
G. Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research to understand healthcare demand, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
- Monitor competing hospitals, their services, packages, specialties and promotional activities.
- Provide regular market feedback to the reporting manager.
- Identify potential locations, institutions and referral networks for business development.
- Prepare territory-wise reports and recommendations.
H. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly marketing activity reports.
- Maintain records of doctor visits, corporate visits, referral meetings, camps, leads and conversions.
- Track performance against assigned targets.
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain an updated database of doctors, hospitals, corporates and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates regarding market activities and business opportunities.
3. Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management will be an added advantage.
4. Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hospital marketing, healthcare sales, business development, medical representative/healthcare marketing or a related field.
- Experience in marketing for a multispecialty/superspecialty hospital will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong local healthcare networks and market knowledge will be preferred.

7. Job Requirements
- Willingness to undertake extensive field visits within the assigned city and surrounding areas.
- Strong knowledge of the local healthcare market will be preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong network of doctors and healthcare stakeholders.
- Willingness to work beyond regular office hours for camps, events and marketing activities when required.
- Candidate should possess a valid driving licence and have access to a two-wheeler, where required for field activities.
