- (JD) – Engineer/Supervisor – Hull Fabrication (Shipbuilding Industry)Key Responsibilities Supervise hull fabrication activities including cutting, fit-up, assembly, welding, and erection. Interpret engineering drawings, structural plans, and fabrication specifications. Plan daily production activities and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment. Monitor fabrication progress and ensure adherence to project schedules. Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, Design, and Procurement teams. Ensure compliance with classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, LR, BV, IRS, etc.). Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure fabrication quality. Resolve fabrication issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and quality standards are followed. Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement. Enforce safety regulations, permit systems, and housekeeping standards. Prepare daily, weekly,
and monthly production reports. Train and mentor technicians, fitters, welders, and junior supervisors.Required Qualifications Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or Marine Engineering. 5 –10 years of experience in hull fabrication in a shipbuilding industry. Strong knowledge of structural fabrication, welding processes, and shipbuilding practices. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with quality standards and inspection procedures.
- CTC: up to Rs 7.5 Lakhs PA.
Pay: ₹50,919.55 - ₹60,350.30 per month
