Role Purpose The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations,
production planning, manpower management, quality compliance, and timely execution of manufacturing activities. The role will act as the second-in-command to the Factory Manager and ensure smooth factory operations while supporting business growth, capacity expansion,
and process excellence initiatives.
Production Operations
Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
Monitor manufacturing activities related to Link Boxes, Clamps, Cleats and other cable accessory products.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams for seamless execution.
Minimize production downtime and ensure optimal utilization of machines and manpower.
Maintain production records and reports.
Production Planning & Control
Monitor and assist in preparing weekly and monthly production schedules.
Track work orders and ensure timely completion.
Monitor material availability and coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
Manpower Management
Supervise shop-floor personnel and allocate resources effectively.
Monitor attendance, discipline and productivity of factory employees.
Conduct daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities.
Support training and skill development of workmen and operators.
Quality Management
Ensure adherence to approved quality standards and inspection procedures.
Work closely with the Quality team to reduce rejection and rework.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, factory rules and statutory requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Promote secure work practices and maintain housekeeping standards.
