Position Title: Manager Production Planning Control (PPC) & Operations.

Location: Factory Site (Chakan)

Reports To: Managing Director / Vice President of Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Person to lead our fabrication facility. In this role, you will take full ownership of factory operationsfrom raw material planning and shop-floor production to managing key client relationships and high-stakes factory visits. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and daily manufacturing execution to ensure profitability, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Production Management

- Oversee overall factory production, machine maintenance, workforce deployment, and material handling.
- Ensure all fabrication activities (cutting, welding, assembly, coating) run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Optimize raw material usage to minimize scrap, reduce rework, and lower operating costs.
- Maintain factory safety standards, quality compliance, and statutory regulations.

2. Production Planning & Resource Management

- Translate customer orders into actionable production schedules and output targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, store, and engineering teams to ensure raw materials are ready before job execution begins.
- Manage workforce allocation,



shift planning, and operational budget control.

3. Client Relationship & Commercial Management

- Act as the senior point of contact for major client accounts, keeping them informed on project milestones.
- Manage client expectations regarding technical feasibility, lead times, and deliverable schedules.
- Resolve critical client concerns or design modifications quickly and professionally.

4. Client Visits & Technical Inspections

- Lead senior client delegations, customer management teams, and external auditors during site visits.
- Host Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), stage-wise inspections, and final project sign-offs.
- Present plant capability, quality assurance processes, and safety protocols to potential recent clients to build trust and win business.

Required Candidate Profile

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 15+ years in the fabrication or heavy engineering manufacturing industry
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of metal fabrication, welding standards, heavy assembly, quality control, and reading technical engineering drawings.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills to direct shop-floor teams alongside clear, professional communication skills for managing senior client executives.
