Role Description The Manager Motor Claims role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end motor claims handling, including registration, assessment, processing, and settlement in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The manager coordinates with surveyors, auto service centers, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely and fair claim resolutions, while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
Day-to-day activities include reviewing complex claims, monitoring claim costs and reserves, analyzing claim trends, implementing process improvements, and guiding team members on technical and operational issues. The role also involves preparing reports, supporting audits, and contributing to initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency in the motor claims function.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Claims Handling and Insurance Claims, with experience managing end-to-end motor claims processes.
- Proficiency in Claims Management, including supervision of workflows, adherence to SLAs, and effective resolution of escalated cases.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret claim data, identify trends, detect potential fraud, and support data-driven decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of Insurance, especially motor insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or claims will be an advantage.
- Experience in leading or mentoring teams, with robust organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate across functions, and handle high volumes of claims with accuracy and integrity.
