We are seeking an experienced and analytical HR professional to lead organizational workforce planning, compensation structures, statutory compliance, performance management, and HR financial governance. In this role, you will align workforce strategy with business goals, ensure precise HR budget tracking and reconciliation, and drive talent growth and retention frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manpower Planning & Budgeting
- Partner with business and functional heads to forecast annual and project-based manpower requirements.
- Prepare and maintain annual manpower budgets aligned with business plans and operational requirements.
- Monitor planned vs. actual headcount and conduct variance analysis.
- Support workforce optimization, hiring plans and manpower cost control.
2. HR Budgeting & Financial Reconciliation
- Prepare and monitor the annual HR operational budget.
- Track HR expenses against approved budgets and identify variances.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll and headcount reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate HR cost allocation, provisions and financial reporting.
3. Compensation & Perks
- Support design and benchmarking of salary structures and salary bands.
- Manage variable pay, incentive structures and compensation reviews.
- Analyse compensation data and support internal/external pay parity initiatives.
4. Performance Management & Talent Management
- Drive end-to-end PMS cycles including KRA/KPI setting, mid-year reviews and annual appraisals.
- Coordinate 360-degree feedback and performance assessment processes.
- Identify HiPo employees and support succession planning for critical positions.
- Develop and monitor Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
5. HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage compliance related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages and POSH.
- Support internal and external HR audits and ensure timely closure of compliance observations.
- Maintain HR policies, processes and governance standards.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders and department heads on workforce and people-related matters.
- Provide HR analytics and insights to support management decision-making.
- Drive employee retention and talent development initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 25 years of core Corporate HR experience.
- Candidates from Banking, NBFC, MFI or Financial Services industry preferred/required.
- Strong exposure to Manpower Planning, HR Budgeting, C&B; and PMS.
- Good understanding of HR statutory compliance and governance.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Post Graduation in HR/Personnel Management preferred, preferably from a reputed B-School.
