Alcon group is into diversified sectors right from hospitality to manufacturing and from constructions to automobile primarily based in Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka. We are looking for the position of Manager Accounts for one of our manufacturing company based in Maharashtra.

A. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Own end-to-end accounting and timely monthly/quarterly/annual closing.
- Review journals, provisions, accruals, depreciation, ledgers and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare/review management accounts and financial statements; ensure correct accounting for revenue, expenses, inventory and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS/Accounting Standards, Companies Act and proper audit trails.

B. Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Manage treasury, banking, daily cash requirements and rolling cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor bank balances, funding, borrowings, interest costs and payment commitments.
- Drive receivables, payables and inventory efficiency; monitor DSO, DPO and inventory days.
- Maintain appropriate payment authorization and banking controls.

C. Accounts Receivable & Credit Management

- Monitor customer ageing, overdue receivables, credit limits and payment terms; drive collections with Sales/Commercial.
- Review advances, deductions, claims, disputes and doubtful-debt provisions; report collection MIS and credit risks.

D. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

- Oversee procure-to-pay, invoice verification and PO/GRN/invoice matching, where applicable.
- Review vendor ageing, advances and disputes; manage payment schedules and approvals.
- Drive vendor reconciliation and optimize commercial payment terms/working capital.

E. Costing, Inventory & Profitability





- Oversee inventory valuation and monitor material consumption, production costs and manufacturing overheads.
- Analyse price, consumption, production and standard-vs-actual variances; review product/customer profitability and margins.
- Monitor slow/non-moving inventory and support cost reduction, pricing and margin improvement.

F. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and other applicable requirements.
- Review GST reconciliations/ITC, statutory payments and returns; manage notices, assessments and tax matters.
- Maintain compliance calendar and documentation; coordinate with consultants and advisors.

G. Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A;

- Lead annual budgeting, cash-flow budgets, forecasts and rolling projections with management/functional heads.
- Monitor actuals vs budget/prior periods, analyze variances and recommend corrective action.
- Support business planning, scenario analysis, financial modeling, CAPEX and major commercial decisions; identify cost optimization opportunities.

H. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS and dashboards covering P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and inventory.
- Provide KPI, budget-vs-actual and variance analysis; highlight risks, issues and opportunities and improve MIS for decision-making.

I. Audit,



Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Lead statutory, internal, tax and other financial audits; coordinate schedules, reconciliations and audit responses.
- Establish/review financial controls, SOPs, segregation of duties and delegated authorities.
- Identify control, financial, tax and compliance risks and implement corrective/preventive actions.

J. Team Leadership, ERP & Process Improvement

- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team; allocate responsibilities, review performance and build capability.
- Ensure accurate ERP accounting, master-data integrity and finance controls; drive automation, digitization and standardized SOPs.

K. Business Partnering

- Partner with MD, CFO, GM and functional heads on financial/commercial decisions, pricing, credit, margins, contracts, CAPEX and investments.
- Provide financial insight, challenge assumptions where appropriate and act as finance interface with auditors, tax consultants, banks and external stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA / CA / MBA – Finance or equivalent; Qualified CA is an advantage.
- 5–8 years’ relevant Finance & Accounts experience, preferably in manufacturing/building materials/construction materials; team supervision experience.
- Robust experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, GST/TDS, statutory compliance, MIS, budgeting, working capital, costing and inventory accounting.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS/Accounting Standards, treasury, cash flow, internal controls and audit processes.
- Strong MS Excel and financial analysis skills; proficiency in Tally, Oracle or equivalent ERP/accounting systems.
