Role & responsibilities The Major Appliances Category team in India is looking for a Manager, Category Management to own and drive end to end P&L; for a set of categories and also drive the customer experience. The person who joins this team must share our passion and commitment for serving customers while also making Amazon a preferred partner for Major Appliances. S/he must be able to balance thinking big, working with ambiguity while driving speed of experimentation.

We are looking for self-starters with strong analytical skills and result-orientation who can make and execute independent, data-driven decisions and work with senior stakeholders , both internally and externally.

Preferred candidate profile

- Relevant experience of 8-12 years
- 3+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with vendor negotiations,



pricing and promotion or inventory management
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience at a senior level in the fashion industry ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or consulting role

1. P&L; ownership experience - has owned a revenue line with

accountability for both topline and profitability levers 2.Vendor/brand management - has negotiated with large consumer brands at senior levels (terms, JBPs, trade investments).

3.People management - has directly managed a team (min 2-3 reports)

with hiring/appraisal accountability.

4.Analytical rigor- comfortable operating on data (category metrics,

share, pricing, funnel) and building data-backed cases.
