Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home where feasible (such as reporting and documentation). On a day-to-day basis, the Maintenance Technician inspects, maintains, and repairs automotive equipment and related systems to ensure secure and reliable operation.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic checks, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out routine and preventive maintenance, and completing necessary repairs in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records, following safety protocols,



coordinating with service advisors and other technicians, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The technician is expected to work efficiently, manage assigned tasks, and provide clear communication about vehicle status and required repairs.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair on a variety of automotive systems.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance principles applicable to automotive tools, machinery, and workshop infrastructure.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in automotive or mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with standard workshop tools, diagnostic instruments, and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Capacity to work both on-site and remotely as needed, with good time management and communication skills.
- Previous experience in automotive service or maintenance roles is preferred.
