Job Location: Initial 34 months in Hyderabad (Telangana), followed by relocation to Solapur (Maharashtra)

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to elevate our API Manufacturing Facility at Synnat Pharma. If you possess hands-on experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing maintenance, specializing in Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, and Utility Operations, you're the talent we seek.

Experience Required: 3-7 years in pharmaceutical API manufacturing maintenance

Roles & Responsibilities:

Equipment Reliability and Maintenance Strategy

1. Develop and implement robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
2. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
3. Optimize maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize production uptime in the API manufacturing facility.
4. Oversee the execution of routine and breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
5. Manage spare parts inventory effectively to support continuous operations and critical equipment availability.

System Operations and Management

1. Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.
2. Implement energy conservation measures and optimize utility consumption across the facility.
3. Manage and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems to ensure accurate process parameters.
4. Conduct regular inspections and performance monitoring of process equipment, pumps, motors, and electrical systems.
5. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of critical utility systems, including boilers, HVAC,



compressed air, and water treatment plants.

Compliance and Safety

1. Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards associated with equipment operation and maintenance tasks.
2. Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support related to maintenance operations.
3. Champion a strong safety culture within the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all maintenance procedures, equipment history, and calibration records.
5. Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to cGMP standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal SOPs.

Team Leadership and Development

1. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for maintenance personnel.
2. Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Conduct training sessions on current equipment, maintenance techniques, and safety procedures.
4. Foster a collaborative environment within the maintenance team and with other departments.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance technicians and contract staff.

Project Management and Continuous Improvement

1. Contribute to the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance tasks.
2. Prepare detailed reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and cost analysis.
3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements and equipment modifications.
4. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and maintenance practices to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Lead or participate in engineering projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and facility expansions.
