Job Title :- Maintenance Incharge / Maintenance Manager
Job Location :- Raipur, (Rajasthan)
India Department :- Engineering & Maintenance
Reports To :-Plant Head / Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations :-
- Oversee the maintenance of all production lines, packaging machines, and utility equipment at the Raipur (Rajasthan) plant.
- Fix machine breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime and production loss.
- Manage daily shift rosters for technicians and engineers.
Preventive Maintenance
- Create and run a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for all plant assets.
- Inspect electrical panels, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems regularly.
- Keep spare parts inventory updated to avoid delays in repairs.
Quality and Safety
- Ensure all maintenance work follows HACCP, GMP, and safety rules.
- Maintain a protected work environment and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Support food safety audits and clear any engineering-related non-conformities.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead projects to improve machine efficiency and reduce power or water consumption.
- Analyze root causes of recurring machine failures using tools like RCA or 5-Why.
- Upgrade old equipment or install new packaging lines when needed.
Requirements Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an FMCG, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
- Prior experience managing plant utilities in Rajasthan's industrial landscape is preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PM or other computerized maintenance management systems.
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to manage and communicate effectively with local technical staff and laborers.
