Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mainframe Developer role based in Bengaluru South.

The Mainframe

Developer will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications to support business and technology requirements.

Responsibilities include coding and testing batch and online programs, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and optimizing performance of existing mainframe solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business needs, preparing technical documentation,



and ensuring adherence to quality and security standards.

The Mainframe

Developer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the deployment and maintenance of mainframe-based systems.

Qualifications

:

- Proven experience in working with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MQ , DB2 and CICS (CICS Expertise).
- Experience working on MVS, TSO, SDSF, IMSDB.
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Develop and maintain COBOL programs within mainframe environments.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing codebases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions.
- Optimize application performance and conduct code reviews.
- Ensure applications comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Document system processes and update existing documentation as needed.
- Should have knowledge on Agile Methodology.
