The Value You Deliver
- Perform enterprise capacity planning and forecasting for z/OS environments.
- Analyze CP, zIIP, memory, DASD, and Coupling Facility utilization trends.
- Monitor batch processing performance and critical path execution.
- Perform workload growth analysis and forecasting using historical data.
- Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
- Support major business events, market activities, and IPO readiness efforts.
- Analyze CPU, zIIP, storage, network, and application resource consumption.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance and capacity-related incidents.
- Monitor and manage Capacity on Demand utilization.
- Provide recommendations for infrastructure optimization and cost efficiency.
- Support hardware refresh, processor upgrades, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Identify workload shifting opportunities between CP and zIIP processors.
- Perform WLM analysis and workload balancing recommendations.
- Develop capacity models for new applications and business initiatives.
- Support disaster recovery readiness and capacity validation.
- Analyze RMF, SMF, IntelliMagic, MXG, Snowflake and Grafana performance data.
- Develop trend analysis and forecast models using R, SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Partner with application, operations, systems programming,
and engineering teams to resolve performance issues.
- Support z/OS release readiness, infrastructure changes, and performance impact assessments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, stability, and scalability.
- Serve as SME for Capacity Planning and Performance Management tools and processes.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Management.
- Robust experience with RMF, SMF, IntelliMagic Vision, MXG, or MICS.
- Experience analyzing large-scale enterprise z/OS environments.
- Strong knowledge of WLM, z/OS architecture, and workload management concepts.
- Experience with capacity forecasting, trend analysis, and reporting.
- Experience supporting financial services or mission-critical environments preferred.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence infrastructure strategy.
