Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at SRV Valves’ facility in Coimbatore, focusing on machineshop production, warren assembly, and quality control. The role involves planning and executing daily machining and production activities, coordinating with design, foundry, and assembly teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

Responsibilities include overseeing warren valve assembly operations,



monitoring process parameters, and ensuring that all components meet dimensional and functional specifications before final testing. The position requires hands-on involvement in quality control, including inspection, documentation, and compliance with API and ISO standards, as well as continuous improvement of shop-floor processes. The role also includes guiding and training production and assembly team members, supporting safety practices, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors and cross-functional departments.

Qualifications

- Robust production-focused skills, including Production Planning and Production Management for machineshop and assembly operations.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in valves, heavy engineering, or precision machining.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with design, foundry, assembly, and quality teams, and for clear reporting and documentation.
- Ability to provide Training and technical guidance to shop-floor personnel and new team members on processes, safety, and quality standards.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in machine shop and assembly.
