About the Role:

We are looking for a Director-level Chief Legal & Compliance Officer to join our NBFC in a truly operational capacity. This is not a ceremonial or advisory position — we need a hands-on leader who will:

- Get deeply involved in the day-to-day business operations
- Fully understand the company's structure, products, and compliance framework
- Represent the company in interactions with the RBI, including participating in meetings and inspections when required
- Act independently and in the best interest of the NBFC, with no material conflicts of interest
- Build legal and compliance functions from the ground up — this is a role for someone who wants to create, not just manage

Who We Are Looking For:

- We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in the financial services sector (NBFC, bank, fintech) and deep expertise in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal affairs.
