Branch Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Branch Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure smooth and timely execution of pickup, delivery, shipment handling, and related activities. The role involves managing branch operations, coordinating manpower and routes, maintaining operational records, and working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure service quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure smooth functioning of all operational activities.
- Plan pickup and delivery routes and ensure shipments are delivered within the defined TAT.
- Plan and arrange the required manpower for pickup and delivery activities based on daily operational requirements.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely pickup, movement, and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate shipment records, including seal numbers, for company records.
- Ensure all shipments and loads are properly tallied against the pre-alert before further processing.
- Record and update shipment details accurately in the system for further processing and tracking.
- Maintain PRS and DRS records and other operational documents required for audit and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational and vaulting reports and share the required reports with the Head Office.
- Monitor operational activities and address delays, gaps, or issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team and respond to customer queries related to operational activities and shipment status.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure timely closure.




- Maintain accurate operational data and records and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to defined operational processes, documentation requirements, and service standards.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline with 3–6 years of experience in branch operations, logistics, courier, transportation, service operations, or a similar field.
- Experience in managing day-to-day operations and coordinating teams will be preferred.
- Good understanding of pickup and delivery operations, route planning, manpower coordination, and shipment handling.
- Positive communication and customer coordination skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office / MS Excel and operational systems.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Good command of Hindi and English; knowledge of the local language will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in logistics, courier, transportation, express delivery, or service operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
