Post: Logistics Executive / Manager Port Operations
Location: Port-Based Operations (Multiple Locations)
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce or Engineering
Experience: 15 years
Salary : 15 Lakhs
Job Profile
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations at port locations including vessel discharge, cargo evacuation, and stockyard management.
- Plan and direct large-scale daily truck movements, optimize vehicle turnaround times, and resolve transport bottlenecks.
- Oversee bulk coal/cargo handling activities including unloading, stacking, reclaiming, quality monitoring, and stock reconciliation.
- Liaise with port authorities, terminal operators, stevedores, Custom House Agents (CHA), surveyors, and transporters.
- Maintain accurate stock records, track inward/outward dispatches, and generate MIS reports on freight costs and performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with port regulations, transport rules,
and safety audit standards.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Port & Bulk Logistics: Extensive experience in bulk cargo evacuation, vessel discharge, and port terminal management.
- Coal Logistics & Fleet Management: Mandatory background handling high-volume coal dispatches and large truck fleets daily.
- Stakeholder Management: Hands-on coordination with CHAs, stevedores, port officials, and transport contractors.
- Software Proficiency: MS Excel expertise and exposure to ERP/SAP logistics systems.
