Role Description The Loan Processor (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for managing loan files from application through settlement. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, verifying information, and ensuring all loan documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with lender and regulatory requirements.

The Loan

Processor will liaise with borrowers, lenders, and internal team members to clarify conditions, obtain missing information, and keep all parties updated on loan progress. This role also includes preparing files for underwriting, tracking key milestones, and proactively resolving issues that could delay approval or settlement. The position is fully remote,



requiring reliable digital communication and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

- Solid experience with loan documentation and loan file management, including organizing, reviewing, and validating Loan Documents.
- Knowledge of different loan products (e.g., personal, home, auto Loans) and basic lending policies and procedures.
- Clear, professional Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with borrowers, lenders, and team members in a remote environment.
- Hands-on experience in Loan Processing and coordinating files for Underwriting, including meeting compliance and quality standards.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort using mortgage and lending software, CRM systems, and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, document management platforms).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in mortgage broking, banking, or lending operations is highly beneficial; relevant certifications or training in finance or lending are an advantage.
