About the Role

We’re looking for a Lighting Artist with strong hands-on experience in Blender to join our VFX and 3D production team.

The role involves lighting for VFX shots, product visuals, full-CG environments, and cinematic 3D projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of lighting, rendering, and the overall production pipeline.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality lighting setups for VFX, product renders, and full-3D shots

Develop realistic, cinematic, and reference-driven lighting

Light characters, products, environments, and CG assets

Work with HDRIs, area lights, point lights, spotlights, volumetrics, and environment lighting

Understand and optimize render settings, quality, and render times

Work with Cycles and Eevee

Balance visual quality with production requirements and render performance

Collaborate with modeling, texturing, FX, animation, and compositing teams

Follow the studio's production pipeline, file structure, naming conventions, and handoff processes

Troubleshoot lighting and rendering issues during production

Deliver clean, organized, and production-ready Blender scenes

Take ownership of lighting tasks from setup through final renderRequirements

Solid working knowledge of Blender

Good understanding of 3D lighting, cinematography, and composition

Strong practical understanding of rendering





Hands-on experience working in a production environment

Understanding of materials, shaders, cameras, exposure, color management, and render settings

Good understanding of the complete 3D/VFX production pipeline

Ability to work with references and maintain consistency across multiple shots

Ability to manage tasks according to project deadlines and delivery requirements

Good communication and collaboration skillsGood to Have

Experience in VFX, CGI, advertising, or product visualization

Experience with Cycles and render optimization

Knowledge of AOVs and compositing

Understanding of ACES / color management

Experience with render farms

Basic knowledge of Nuke, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve

Understanding of animation, FX, and environment workflows

We value practical production experience and pipeline understanding as much as artistic ability.

You should understand how your work fits into the larger production process and be comfortable working with other departments to deliver shots on time.

Portfolio / Showreel is required.

Working Hours:This is a full-time position, with working hours subject to project requirements and delivery schedules.

Flexibility may be required during critical production and delivery periods.
