Role & responsibilities

- Conduct insurance surveys and inspections as per IRDAI regulations and company requirements.

- Assess the nature, cause, and extent of losses and damages.

- Inspect properties, stocks, machinery, equipment, and other insured assets, as applicable.

- Prepare detailed survey reports, loss assessment reports, and supporting documentation.

- Coordinate with policyholders, insurance companies, brokers, and other stakeholders.

- Verify policy coverage, claim documents, and relevant supporting records.

- Conduct site visits and investigations for assigned claims.

- Ensure timely submission of survey reports and claim assessments.

- Maintain accurate records and comply with IRDAI guidelines and professional standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Must hold a valid IRDAI Surveyor & Loss Assessor Licence in the relevant department/category.

- Experience in insurance surveying and loss assessment is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims, and loss assessment procedures.

- Positive analytical, investigation, and report-writing skills.

- Ability to independently handle site inspections and claim assignments.
