Hiring | Chief Manager/AVP - Legal - Non Litigation (Construction Finance/Real Estate/Debt Structure) | Leading NBFC | Mumbai

We are hiring for a leading NBFC looking to strengthen its Real Estate Legal team.

Experience: 10+ years

? Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Conduct legal due diligence for real estate transactions

✅ Draft, review, and vet transaction documents and agreements

✅ Negotiate contracts with developers, landowners, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders

✅ Handle mortgage creation, security documentation, and transaction execution

✅ Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws and regulations

✅ Provide legal guidance on RERA, Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, Stamp Duty laws, and other property-related regulations

✅ Support knowledge management and regulatory compliance initiatives

Eligibility:

✔️ LL.B / LL.M & C.S from a recognized university

✔️ Experience in Non-Litigation Real Estate/Debt Structure Legal functions

✔️ Robust expertise in:





Real estate due diligence

Property and mortgage documentation

Agreement drafting and negotiation

Transaction implementation and execution

Security creation and compliance

Preferred Background:

Experience in Real Estate Developers, NBFCs, Housing Finance Companies, Banks, Infrastructure Companies, or Corporate Legal Teams will be preferred.

Skills Required:

? Excellent drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills

? Strong understanding of land laws and real estate regulations

? Expertise in mortgage creation, security documentation, and property law compliance
