Shift: UK Shift | Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM-10:00 PM IST

Salary:

3.6LPA – 4.5 LPA, depending on experience The Role:

We are seeking a Data Claims Paralegals to support the handling of cases involving data breaches, misuse of personal information, and privacy-related claims against public authorities and private organisations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a growing area of law while helping to protect individuals' rights under the Data Protection Act, UK GDPR and the Human Rights Act.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

- Report directly to the Department Director.
- Provide a professional, proactive approach with strong client care skills and a sensitive understanding of client needs.
- Assist in managing a caseload of data breach and privacy claims.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, court bundles, and other case-related documentation.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
- Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, experts, and third parties.
- Support solicitors with litigation and case management activities.
- Assist in identifying funding options and preparing relevant applications.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver a high-quality client service.




- Help promote the department and firm through marketing and social media initiatives.
- Assist with the continued growth and development of the department.

Key Skills Required:

- Previous Paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in litigation or claimant work.
- An interest in Data Protection, Privacy Law, and Human Rights matters.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to client care and access to justice.
- Experience of legal aid funded work is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
