Location: Clean Harbors India, 4th Floor, Brigade Triumph Building, Dasara Halli Road, Kempapura, Hebbal, Karnataka 5600024

Role Summary:

The Leave of Absence Associate will serve as a key member of the Leave of Absence team, responsible for managing and administering employee leave requests in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This role will provide support for the administration of injury files and documentation. Daily tasks are cantered around the organization of paper and digital documents required for processing injuries and workers compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage various leave programs including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state-specific leave laws, short-term and long-term disability, and other company-sponsored leave programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave of absence inquiries, guiding them through the process and answering questions about their rights and responsibilities.
- Review and process leave requests and necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).



Prepares documents for internal and external stakeholders, such as attorneys and regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with HR business partners, managers, and the payroll department to ensure proper communication and seamless coordination regarding leave administration and return-to-work processes.
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local leave regulations to ensure that the companys practices are compliant; recommend updates to policies as needed.
- Provide compassionate support to employees during their leave of absence, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their entitlements and obligations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for managers and employees regarding leave policies and procedures.
- Generate reports and analyse leave trends to support workforce planning and identify opportunities for improving leave management processes.
