Technical Product Owner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of scalable products that meet both customer and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in product management, technical ownership, and agile methodologies, with a focus on driving product discovery, execution, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Product Discovery: Collaborate with local markets, operations, and customer experience stakeholders to design features that address customer and operational needs. Transform business requirements into scalable product solutions.
- Product &
- Technical Ownership: Manage the technical product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business and technical goals. Translate product requirements into detailed technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs.
- Delivery &
- Execution: Work closely with engineering teams to facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery execution. Remove blockers to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery across systems and dependencies. Validate delivered features against functional and technical acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder &
- Squad Alignment: Serve as the primary interface between product, business, and engineering teams. Collaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and platform teams to ensure compliant and scalable solutions. Manage dependencies across multiple systems, vendors, and markets.
- Technical Design &
- Governance: Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.



Review and validate API contracts, integration design, and system interactions. Support technical decision-making with trade-offs between speed, cost, and scalability.
- Data-Driven Product Development: Leverage data and insights to inform product decisions and prioritization. Track product and technical KPIs (performance, reliability, adoption). Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback loops.

Mandatory Skills

- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, or Delivery Lead in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with system integrations and middleware.
- Ability to translate business needs into a technical requirements backlog (epics, stories).
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and engineering teams.
- Good understanding of usability and user experience principles.
- Experience working in cross-functional squads and large enterprise environments.
- Experience with Agile delivery processes and tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

- Experience in multi-market or partner-integrated ecosystems.
- Experience in digital journeys and tech product management.
- Experience in insurance customer servicing and payments.
- Familiarity with design tools for conceptual designs (e.g., Figma).
- Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases in product development, automation, or operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-8 years of experience in product management or related roles.
