- Strong experience with Embedded Linux and Linux kernel internals.

Solid debugging skills using:

- Crash analysis
- Experience with Device Tree (DTS/DTBO).
- Skilled in kernel module development and debugging.
- Knowledge of Android partition layout and boot images.

Android-Specific Skills
- Good understanding of Android HAL architecture.
- Familiarity with Treble/VINTF, AIDL, and HIDL concepts.
- Experience with compliance testing suites such as CTS, VTS, and GTS.
- Understanding of Android OTA/update mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Virtual A/B and dynamic partitions.
- Knowledge of Android security concepts (e.g., SELinux, AVB, FDE/FBE).
- Build System & Tools
- Experience with Yocto or Buildroot (preferred).




- Strong understanding of the Android build system including Soong/Android.bp and Makefiles.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and CI workflows.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and Python scripting.

- Experience in GKI migration projects.
- Familiarity with Android 15/16 platform upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm bootloader/debug flow.
- Exposure to modem/RIL integration.
- Knowledge of OTA update_engine architecture.
- Experience in performance optimization and power tuning.
- Experience with camera/display subsystem debugging.
- Involvement in board bring-up activities.
- Exposure to secure boot and TrustZone concepts.
- Experience working on OEM/customer-facing projects.
