Role & responsibilities

- Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs using Structured Text and Ladder Logic.

- Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA applications for automation systems.

- Design control system architecture, I/O configuration, PLC hardware, and industrial communication networks.

- Design electrical control panels, including component selection, power/control circuits, wiring, and panel interfaces.

- Prepare and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and control documentation using AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN.

- Integrate PLCs with VFDs, motion systems, sensors, safety systems, and field devices.

- Perform simulation, debugging, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality teams for system integration.





- Participate in design reviews, FMEA, risk assessments, and technical problem-solving.

- Guide junior controls engineers and review technical deliverables.

- Ensure automation and control panel designs meet safety standards, customer requirements, and engineering best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation.

- 8 to 12 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.

- At least 2-3 years of experience in a Lead or Senior Controls Engineering role.
