Job Purpose:

To lead the design, development, and maintenance of company databases.

To ensure the performance, security, and integrity of databases.

To provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and maintenance of databases.

Ensure database performance, security, and integrity.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Collaborate with other departments for requirements and solutions.

Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures.

Monitor and optimize database performance.

Identify and resolve database-related issues.

Keep up-to-date with current technologies and industry trends.

Educational Qualifications:

B Tech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.

Key Skills:





Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures.

Familiarity with Cloud Database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, YugaByteDB).

Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

Experience with NoSQL databases (Aerospike/Cassandra/Couchbase).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Experience Required:

Total 11-14 years of experience.
