Hiring: Custom Software Engineer – LIMS/LES

We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems (LIMS/LES) to join our team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining customized software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and enhance customized software applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical and business requirements.
- Work independently and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Maintain and enhance existing software components to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
- Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Document software designs, development processes, and technical solutions.
- Participate actively in team discussions and provide solutions to technical challenges.
- Support knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across software development processes.

Required Skills




- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) / Laboratory Execution Systems (LES).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and relevant development frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and application optimization skills.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and collaborative development tools.
- Good understanding of software design, development, testing, and maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Profile Candidates with experience in LIMS/LES development, laboratory systems, laboratory informatics, or related life-sciences software applications will be preferred.
