Job Summary:

Responsible for collecting patient samples and performing laboratory tests accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper documentation, equipment, and laboratory supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect blood and other patient samples from the laboratory and other departments.
- Perform hematology, serology, biochemistry, hormone, electrolyte, pathology, clinical pathology, and urine analysis tests.
- Perform semi-automated/automated laboratory testing as assigned.
- Assist in blood transfusion procedures as per hospital protocols.
- Ensure accurate entry and documentation of patient test results.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor laboratory stock, including reagents, urine containers, pipettes, and other supplies, and inform the Lab In-Charge for timely replenishment.
- Follow laboratory procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Report equipment issues, stock shortages, or abnormal findings to the Lab In-Charge.

Qualification: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology / DMLT from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
