Position: L2 Network Engineer – Campus Networking

Experience: 2–5 Years

Location: Guwahati

Job Summary

We are looking for an L2 Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in

Campus Networking, Switches, and Wireless Access Points (APs).

Experience with

Arista Networks will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Campus LAN switches and Access Points.

Strong knowledge of VLAN, Trunking, STP/RSTP, LACP, LLDP, DHCP, and

Port Security.

Troubleshoot network connectivity, switching, and performance issues.

Configure and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi, SSIDs, VLAN mapping,

authentication, and AP connectivity.

Perform switch/AP installation, configuration, firmware upgrades, and replacement.

Monitor network devices and resolve L2/L3 incidents within SLA.





Maintain network documentation, configuration backups, port mapping, and troubleshooting reports.

Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for complex technical issues.

Required Skills

Robust understanding of Campus LAN & Wi-Fi.

Hands-on experience with Arista/Cisco/Aruba switches and APs.

Good knowledge of Arista EOS will be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of OSPF, VRRP, and routing fundamentals.

Good troubleshooting and customer communication skills.

Preferred

Arista Switch & Wi-Fi experience will be highly preferred.

Education: B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent networking qualification.
