IMESH is looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys troubleshooting Kubernetes networking issues.

What you’ll work on
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes networking and application connectivity issues
- Diagnose traffic flow across Pods, Services, Endpoints, DNS and NetworkPolicies
- Work with Linux networking and Kubernetes networking fundamentals
- Investigate issues involving routing, connectivity, service discovery and network policies
- Debug real-world production issues and identify root causes, not just symptoms
- Work with modern cloud-native networking technologies such as Cilium, eBPF, Istio and Envoy
What we’re looking for
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes / cloud-native infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals
- Good understanding of:
- Pods & Services
- DNS & Service Discovery
- Endpoints / EndpointSlices
- NetworkPolicies
- Kubernetes networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use tools such as kubectl, Linux networking utilities and logs to investigate issues
- Comfortable working hands-on from the command line
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical problems and solutions
Nice to haveExperience with Cilium, eBPF, Istio, Envoy, service mesh or Kubernetes networking internals is a solid plus.
